For the Love of Hockey is a mission-driven organization focused on advancing the growth of hockey across the state of Florida.
We are building the foundation for a complete, in-state development system — from youth participation to collegiate competition and beyond.
Our Purpose
To expand access to the game, strengthen player development, and create sustainable opportunities for athletes to compete and grow within Florida.
Our Vision
To establish Florida’s first NCAA Division I men’s and women’s hockey program and create a fully integrated pathway from youth to junior to collegiate to professional hockey.
Why it Matters
Florida is producing elite hockey talent. Florida is winning at the highest levels. Yet there is no Division I program within the state. This forces athletes to leave Florida to continue their development — limiting growth, access, and long-term opportunity.
